About Carmen Pendleton

For Therapy Clients

I’m a licensed clinical professional counselor with experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, ADHD, life transitions, relationships, self-esteem, and other mental health concerns. My approach to therapy is collaborative, practical, and individualized. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel understood without judgment while also gaining concrete tools and strategies to help you move forward. My goal is to help clients better understand themselves, build confidence, develop healthier patterns, and create meaningful change in their lives.

For Healthcare Organizations

In addition to my clinical work, I have experience in clinical quality, behavioral health operations, documentation, and healthcare compliance, with graduate coursework in Health Information Management and Technology. My background has given me a unique perspective on the intersection of clinical care, healthcare systems, data, documentation, and quality improvement. I provide consulting services to healthcare organizations seeking support with clinical quality initiatives, documentation practices, workflow improvement, compliance, and other efforts to strengthen the quality and efficiency of care. My approach combines real-world clinical experience with a systems-level understanding of healthcare quality and information management.

Clinical Quality and Health Information Management

My professional experience combines clinical behavioral health practice with an interest in healthcare quality, compliance, and health information management. As a licensed clinical professional counselor, I have experience with clinical quality audits, clinical documentation, treatment planning, regulatory and ethical requirements, care coordination, and maintaining accurate and compliant health records.

My graduate coursework in Health Information Management and Technology has expanded my knowledge of healthcare information systems, health data management, privacy and security, healthcare quality, informatics, and the role of technology in improving clinical workflows and patient care.

Together, my clinical background and health information management training provide a unique perspective on clinical quality, documentation integrity, regulatory compliance, health data, and healthcare process improvement.
